Feeling Frustrated

It's all a bit much at the moment, things aren't happening fast enough for me and things keep on happening to add to my frustration, let me tell you of a few.

I filled the skip (see pic) phoned them to come and collect it before the damp specialists came, they said Monday, it is now Wednesday the damp people are here but alas the skip guys are still giving me excuses as to why the skip is still in my front garden. We have moles. The nice freshly mowed lawn that I have just got back to a reasonable length, I have mowed and mowed and raked and the grass is just turning green from a nice straw colour and a load of mole hills have suddenly appeared. Only in my garden not either neighbor's but mine! I have paid the £227.00 that is required for the National grid to connect the gas but they inform me that they have 21 days to let me know when they will be coming to lay the pipe! (that is it- I have to dig the trench they are just connecting the pipe! £227.00!!!) and even then it could be up to 7 weeks wait!

As you can probably tell a massive WOOOsaaaar is needed here I think I need to take a step back and get a reality check.

We have a really nice house.
We have a really nice garden.
We at last live in the country.
We have nice neighbor's.

maybe that's why I'm so frustrated - I just want to be living there already! :)

Don't get frustrated - certainly not so early on. The house we're now selling was like an eventide home when we bought it, including old man's wee all over the bathroom floor and walls - ask Becks. It took two years and one baby later to finally finish it - and now we're moving to a perfectly already done up house. Anyway, I digress, keep going, it'll sooooooo be worth it in the end.

Thanks Anita!- The skip has now gone the damp is done and things are moving again. Things attack me when I'm tired so thanks for your encouragement.

I didn't know you renovated- I shall ask your bro!

I wouldn't really class what we did as renovate - we certainly didn't do big stuff like on your floor. Mainly we redecorated every room, and re-floored it - some carpet some floor boarded. We ripped out a minging fireplace, kitchen and bathroom, replaced the last two. Had a conservatory put on - waste of space - too hot to ever sit in!!! Oh and put in double glazing. Dunno if you call all that renovate. Anyway the point is keep going, one day you'll sit back and laugh at the stress of it all!!! And then perhaps like us, sell and move again!!!
